Christmas Nails

So after filing my nails down to a painfully short length to try to get rid of all the breaks and gluing tiny pieces of fake nails to make up a few corners, I had to do a Christmas Mani! It seriously felt wonderful to paint them again. There's still a few breaks but you can't see them terribly :)

Left hand:
Thumb - Essie Bikini So Teeny
Pointer finger - Maybelline Color Show Sapphire Siren
Middle finger - Orly On the List
Ring finger - OPI Alpine Snow and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Red My Lips
Pinky - Sinful Colors Rise & Shine

Christmas Nails

I just got a tiny brush and painted on the details with acrylic. Most people's favorite was the snowflake, which I did by just drawing a snowflake "skeleton" of three crossing lines, then added the teensy lines to it. It was actually really easy. The candy cane was done by painting the white, blocking off with striping tape, and adding the red.

Christmas Nails

I used the plastic bag technique for the middle three fingers and just painted on the lights and ornament directly. These pictures are from a few days in, and my Sally Hansen had started to chip a bit. Oh well :)

Merry Christmas, guys! Hopefully I'll have another holiday manicure up soon :)
