My all time favorite brand is Essie, hands down. I love the bottles, I love the brushes, I love the colors, and I love the formula.
Favorites:
- Essie (duh)
- OPI
- Butter London - Way too expensive for just a normal polish, but the formula is well...like butter!
- Sally Girl (from Sally's) - These are tiny little bottles, so I do like them because usually when I buy a color it's specific for one manicure and they're only 99c.
- Revlon Color Stay - Super long lasting
- Milani glitter polishes (however, I'm not crazy about the regular colors)
- Wet n Wild Megalast - Very inexpensive but I love the quality
- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure
- Nails Inc. from Sephora
- Zoya - I love, love, LOVE ZOYA. Everything about it.
These are the ones that I generally like:
- Sinful Colors - Pretty inexpensive, and nice quality as well
- Orly
- Maybelline Color Show
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - I really like using these when they're brand new, but because of the brush shape I find them hard to manage when they're older polishes
- Revlon
- Spa Ritual -They're really nice but can be expensive. They're also vegan!
These are the ones I dislike:
- NYC - I find their polishes to be very poor quality. I have trouble with drying, opacity, and chipping when I use this polish
- Love & Beauty from Forever 21 - I used to swear by this brand when I wasn't really looking for super good quality, but I definitely have trouble with this adhering to even a base coat.
- Wet n Wild Shine - Again, poor quality
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - I've had trouble with bubbling, and I find it gets thick very easily
- China Glaze - Ew. Sorry, China Glaze lovers. I've only had success with 1 bottle. I can't stand the formula and it chips so easily and is waaaay too expensive for the quality you get. This is my least favorite polish.
I'll update this list if I find any more brands worth mentioning, or if my opinion changes on any of these polishes.
